Description
This is a very dynamic image of animal photography. It is of a Giant Leopard Moth ( hypercompe scribonia ) This beautiful, little insect, with fancy wings flew onto the pourch fence. The wings are white with black circles and some spots that look all most square. It has been enhanced with digital manipulation to bring out the details in the moth and to change the background. Nature provided me with a wonderful opportunity to get this close-up photo. Would make a lovely animal gift as a framed print, mug, pillow, notebook or any of several other accesories for the home.
