Busy Working is a fusion of photography and artificial intelligence. I was at Kidd Machine Works in Roanoke, Va. to get some photos of the work that is done there. It is a machine shop that makes and repairs parts for train engines. This image is made from a background shot of part of the interior and also the Halloween characters were first pictures of some of the machinery. Busy Working was first made as a composite photo and then fancied up with a couple of runs through an AI engine. Now, as I take another look at this picture, I can see the employees are standing around chatting when they are supposed to be manufacturing the pumpkins for Halloween. Seems to me, break time is over, they best get back to work!
