Gold equals toilet paper is a manipulated photograph of a bar of gold with a roll of toilet paper which is almost gone. It is representative of the value of the toilet paper. Stores have empty shelves and as soon as some supply comes in, it is soon gone. Toilet paper and paper towels are so scarce, it took checking repeatedly with several stores in the area where I live to find any at all. For thirty miles in all directions, no store, big or small has any in stock. Toilet paper is as priceless as gold. It is even more expensive to buy from some online retailers as they have almost doubled the cost of a package. The beautiful pink flowers are added to the image to try to brighten the gloom of what is.
